The First WPHL logo during its "Great Entertainer" branding, circa 1980. The 17 logo itself dates back to the late 1970s and was dropped in fall 1988; "Great Entertainer" was dropped shortly before this, presumably in fall 1987.

WPHL's second PHL17 logo, used from 1990 to 1995 (version 1 of this logo contained an unitalicized "PHL" and lacked the "Philadelphia" script). Note the "Taft" logo, identical to the one used by Taft Broadcasting in the 80s. Dudley Taft's group bought the rights to the name and logo.

WPHL's first WB17 logo, used from 1995 to fall 2000. The logo was very similar to that of the athletic logo of St. John's University of New York City that was in use from 1994 to 2002. SMG of New York City designed both logos.

WPHL's second WB17 logo, used from fall 2000 to July 2006.

Current WPHL logo, used since July 2006.
