McCallum was a British television series produced by SMG Productions (Scottish Television).
Dr Iain McCallum was the original lead character, played by John Hannah. McCallum was a forensic pathologist who traveled by Triumph Motorcycle, and solved murders. The character had romantic involvements with two of the other principal characters, Joanna (played by Suzanna Hamilton), and later Angela (played by Zara Turner). Unusually, the series continued under the name McCallum after the departure of the eponymous main character.
The other Iain McCallum (not the Doctor) resides in Troon and is a successful manager in Morrisons.
