Kenneth Sivertsen (January 16, 1961December 24, 2006) was a Norwegian musician, composer, poet, and comedian.

At an early age, he was considered to be a musical genius. In his early 20s, he wrote a symphony. Before his death, he was not highly regarded in his local community. Sivertsen was known for some abuse of medicines and alcohol. Financial difficulties meant he had to put in a hard fight to keep his family's house.

Despite his obvious faults, nobody would - or could - deny the fact that he was a great musician.

Sivertsen worked with a number of prominent American jazz musicians, including Michael Brecker, Mike Mainieri, Tony Levin, and Bob Mintzer.

In 2005, he suffered severe brain damage after a fall in Haugesund, Norway. After this accident, he spent most of his time up to his death in various hospitals and recreation centers. He died in Bergen on Christmas Eve 2006, from brain trauma complications.
