Gorillaz

Apparently, a group called "Gorillaz Sound System" is an audio-visual party band. The first known time they played was during an MTV Send Off Party at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London, UK on October 23rd, 2007. The story on MTV.co.uk said:

Our favourite MTV presenter Emma Griffith will be hosting the knees up with several DJs and live bands, including a performance from the multi-million selling Gorillaz and their DJ Sound System – but the best thing is you and your mates can be there too![43]

Their second known performance will be at the UK musical festival Creamfields on August 23rd and 24th of August, 2008. This is the review of what they will do according to the official Creamfields website:

Emerging from the cartoon underworld into the dazzling hills of Creamfields, Gorillaz Sound System have just confirmed they will be performing at this years event. Unleashing their wild beats in the stunning Cheshire valley accompanied by a spectacular visuals and lights show – a unique exhibit to wish Creamfields an incredible 10th anniversary! The phenomenal Gorillaz Sound System is the world’s premier audio-visual party experience! The eye-popping 360-degree Gorillaz visuals delivered from 20 old school projectors accompany 4 DJs in Gorillaz Sound System gear that will be delivering the biggest roof raising tracks with a one-of-a-kind spectacular.[44]
