Miscellaneous

  • This is the only Less Than Jake album with a Parental Advisory label
  • The album artwork consists of what letters A-H stand for (A is for Anthem, B is for B-Sides etc)
  • Though the band originally wanted to release the songs on four-3 song EPs on independent labels, Warner told the band that they could either release a CD or the songs would never see the light of the day
  • Originally, the lyrics to "Portrait of a Cigarette Smoker at 19" had the chorus singing 'We're all doing just fine' instead of 'There might not be a next time'.
  • The vocals to "Sleep It Off" were recorded at the Anthem listening party and the people talking can be heard in the background at the end of the track. The song is also the name for Less Than Jake's current record label
  • "A.S.A.O.K." is an acronym meaning "All Systems A-OK".
  • "Jay Frenzal" refers to Jason Whalley of Frenzal Rhomb, who has one line on the track.
