"&" is the 29th single released by Ayumi Hamasaki and her 16th number 1 single. It came out on July 9, 2003. "&" was a triple A-side single and also featured the theme to A-Nation 2003, which Ayu sang. "&" also featured the three songs "ourselves", "Greatful Days", "Hanabi ~episode II~.
The single debuted at the number one spot for the daily, weekly and monthly Japanese charts and went on to sell almost 600,000 copies. It is her last single to sell over 500,000 copies.
The songs Hanabi ~episode II~ and theme of a-nation '03 were composed by Ayumi under the nickname CREA.
